Looking for a faster way to get from Manila to Bataan or Bataan to Manila without the long land travel? The Manila to Bataan ferry finally resumed operations starting November 15, 2023 with promo fares at for P499 for one-way tickets.
You can now travel faster to Bataan via 1Bataan Integrated Transport System, a ferry service that connects Metro Manila to the province of Bataan in Central Luzon by sea. Sea travel will take less than two hours, cutting travel time from land trips, which can take from 3 to 5 hours.
The trial run was held in late November and December 2023 (Monday to Sunday), and operations have normalized in 2024.
The ferry will depart from the Esplanade Seaside Terminal (EST) at SM By the Bay, Pasay City, at 7:00 am and arrive at Camaya Resort in Mariveles, Bataan at 9:00 a.m. A bus will take passengers from the Camaya Terminal to the FAB Central Terminal (FCT) in Mariveles.

How much does the Manila to Bataan Ferry cost?
The current promo rate of 1 BITS is P499 effective from March 1, 2024 to May 19, 2024. Payment can be made online and by cash for walk-in passengers. These are one-way tickets inclusive of ferry and bus ride.
How to pay online for the Manila-Bataan ferry (iPay 88)
- Step 1 – Customers online booking portal using iPay88.
- Step 2 – Select a trip schedule.
- Step 3 – Provide passenger details.
- Step 4 – Reserve Booking
- Step 5 – Enter the card details to be used for payment.
- Step 6 – Receive Email Confirmation and e-Boarding Pass
Walk-in procedure for the Manila-Bataan ferry
- Step 1 – Customer will purchase a ticket at the terminal.
- Step 2 – Admin will book and receive payment.
- Step 3 – Customer will receive a booking confirmation and e-boarding pass on email, or admin, will download and print the e-boarding pass.
- Step 4 – Customer will proceed to the boarding gate.
- Step 5 – On ground concierge will scan the e-boarding pass and the system will validate if the booking is confirmed.
- Step 6 – Ride a ferry.
How to board the Manila-Bataan Ferry
- The Terminal is located at Esplanade Seaside Terminal D.W. Diokno Seaside Blvd. Pasay City (beside 1/11 Convenience Store and Vikings Buffet Restaurant)
- Passengers are asked to proceed to the 1Bataan ITS booth Counter 2A upon arrival at the terminal.
- Present Reservation Confirmation with Valid QR Codes to get Boarding Pass
- Passengers can check-in 1.5 hours before departure time
- Boarding Gates will close 30 minutes before scheduled ferry departure
What is allowed on the ferry?
- Only 1 hand carry luggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg with a size of 56 cm (22in) x 36 cm (14 in) x 23 cm (10 in) is allowed per passenger.
- Normal routine baggage checking will be done for safety and security purposes.
What are the restrictions?
- Any deadly weapon or firearms
- Explosive devices/chemicals
- Corrosive substances/Hand carried flammable substances
- Passengers may bring food and drinks on the ferry, but eating is prohibited while on board
- Change name of passenger on the same day is not allowed. Tickets can be modified 3-5 days prior to date of trip by sending an email to booking@1bataanits.ph for further assistance.

Where can I park a car near the ferry terminals?
Parking areas are available at designated areas near the terminals in both Manila and Bataan. EST Parking Fee costs P50.00 for whole day parking and P300.00 for overnight parking.
