If you’re looking for something fun and active to do in the city, but don’t want to get too sweaty outdoors, indoor wall climbing is a good option. There are various wall climbing facilities and gyms in the metro, but Climb Central Manila is currently the largest indoor air-conditioned sport climbing venue in the Philippines.
The whole place is very secure with lots of routes for beginners and more advanced climbers, making it perfect for groups looking for an afternoon of activity together. Several walls have an auto-belay system, so even solo travelers can try climbing. No prior experience is required! The gym also has a shower where guests can freshen up and head out after their work-out.
Indoor wall climbing is a good introduction and practice for outdoor rock climbing. The Philippines has some beautiful outdoor rock climbing sites in different provinces of the country, including Wawa in Montalban, Atimonan in Quezon and Cantabaco and Poog in Cebu. But for those who don’t have time to travel to sites outside Manila, this provides a good fun indoor workout.

Whether you’re an experienced climber or just starting out, we’re sure that you can find your space at Climb Central. This activity is a good option for team-building or barkada bonding sessions because the activity requires communication, trust and creative problem-solving abilities. For more advanced climbers, there’s a separate bouldering wall.
Climb Central Facilities are very kid-friendly. Kids can benefit a lot from the healthy and confidence boosting activities available at Climb Central. The gym has climbing lanes suitable for both kids and adults to climb on as well as kid-sized climbing shoes and climbing harnesses. The gym also has advanced safety systems that allow parents with no experience in climbing to participate.
Climb Central also runs climbing courses where instructors can guide guests through their climbing experience. All kids programs are drop-off sessions, so adults can enjoy a coffee and go off somewhere while the kids enjoy their workout.
